When it’s cold outside in Jersey City, sometimes there’s nothing better than a steamy bowl of ramen to warm you up. With that delicious, salty broth and chewy wheat noodles, ramen is a heartwarming dish that’s like a hug in a bowl.
Jersey City has a handful of places where you can slurp on some noodles; check out this list of restaurants offering the best ramen in Jersey City.

Ani Ramen is a boutique ramen house with several locations throughout New York and New Jersey. In Jersey City there are two locations – a sit-down restaurant on Newark Ave and a casual to-go spot at District Kitchen down by the waterfront.
The No.3 Chef’s Special is our favorite, made with a classic chicken broth and a shoyu tare base enriched with chili paste, chives, garlic, ginger, onion, lemongrass, and shallot. On the menu you’ll also find a variety of bites that are perfect for sharing, including bao buns, edamame, kurobuta sausage and miso sake wings.
